Contains photographs of the following military units and organizations: 77th Field Artillery; 14th United States (U.S.) Infantry; 33rd Michigan Infantry; 1st Wisconsin Infantry. General description of the collection: The Mexican border service photograph collection consists of miscellaneous photos, all dealing with some aspect of activities on the Mexican-American Border during the period 1914-1917. The collection ranges from camps on the border of Texas, to infantry, artillery, and cavalry road marches, to Mexican guerrillas (both dead and alive) to motor truck convoys, and other subjects. A few of the photos are indentified by unit: 77th U.S. Field Artillery Regiment, 14th U.S. Infantry Regiment, 33rd Michigan Infantry Regiment, and 1st Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. Several Mexican villages are identified.
